I am currently employed by InGenius Prep as an expert "Former Admissions Officer." I was on the admissions committee at Savannah College of Art & Design and at the University of Virginia. I helped select students to enter the College of Arts & Sciences, Architecture, and Engineering, and honors programs. I've also served as a college counselor at 3 international schools: in India, Switzerland, and the DC area. I have helped students write application essays, trained teachers to write recommendations, and written hundreds of counselor letters! I know what it takes to apply to colleges in the US, Canada, the UK, and to visual and performing-arts programs, as I spent two years majoring in violin. I enjoy non-fiction writing and attended the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference at Middlebury.
